The internal pressure creep test is a test procedure for determining the strength of thermoplastic pipes. The samples are subjected to a constant hydrostatic internal pressure at a constant ambient temperature either for a specified period or until they fail. The test duration is subject to the tension generated by the internal pressure and the temperature.
The pulsator is used to test pipes and containers made from thermoplastic polymer for resistance to alternating pressure stress. The test specimen is fi lled with water and subjected to pressure cycles by the pulsator. The number of test cycles can be adjusted.
The temperature cycling tester is designed to determine the resistance and stability of thermoplastic pipework and pipework connections consisting of stiff or flexible parts when subjected to alternating thermal shock. This applies to pipework systems intended to be used for conveying hot and cold pressurized water.
