ANDRITZ Separation provides mechanical and thermal technologies as well as services and the related automation solutions for solid/liquid separation. The customized, innovative solutions focus on minimizing the use of resources and achieving highest process efficiency, thus making a substantial contribution towards sustainable environmental protection.
The current portfolio covers everything from decanters for plant-based protein and vegan drinks, filter presses, peeler centrifuges, screw presses for starches, as well as contact drum dryers for algae, sourdough and animal protein or paddle dryers for flour or wastewater treatment. We also offer a range of pumps for different steps in the production process.
ANDRITZ specialists obtained extensive knowledge on food and beverage production through multiple projects at different (multi-national) production plants. With endless installations worldwide, ANDRITZ has a proven track record of excellent results with very little downtime.

Our leading dewatering and drying solutions for producing native and modified starches cover the main equipment in nearly every starch processing line from determination mills, decanters, peeler centrifuges, vacuum drum filters as well as contact drum dryers for modified starch or paddle dryers for dextrinization. We also offer a range of pumps or screening systems like DSM or centrifugal screens.Our efficient technology for high oil recovery. Whilst separating the crude oil from the fruit after squeezing is crucial for the optimization of potential yield, ANDRITZ decanters achieve a light phase oil purity of more than 95%.
Our reliable solutions for baby food producers. To date, we have installed more than 500 drum dryers and dozens of turnkey lines for baby food production. Capabilities range from design, engineering, and pilot plant testing to installation, commissioning assistance, and after sales service for single process steps on up to complete process lines.
